So mused one reviewer and he hit the nail on the head.
DCWAVE cranks out music with influences from Pink Floyd to Rush, AC/DC and the Foo Fighters. Throughout the songs are micro-anthems that embody the best of arena-sized rock that tell a story while making heads bob, and feet tap.
The story so far…
“My music is a vehicle for story telling, but its also my way of taking something that is subjective and making it objective; allowing me to move beyond whatever hardship or pain might have been the reason for the song in the first place,” says DCWAVE
DCWAVE has a long history in the music industry; having composed music for film and television, DCWAVE started taking music lessons at an early age; first the baritone horn, then trumpet, then piano, and finally guitar. In his late teens he made his way to California and formed a very popular “melodic” thrash band that quickly rose to prominence in the west coast music scene. After a few years of touring, recording, and general mayhem, DCWAVE realized it was time to focus his talents elsewhere.
DCWAVE had the opportunity to start a recording studio and work with other musicians, often helping them to refine their sound and helping them to take their careers to the next level. Along with recording, DCWAVE is an award winning composer and musician, having received accolades for his work used in film, and as a bassist.
Today, DCWAVE’s focus is on returning to his roots – solid rock music that people can bob their heads too, and tap their feet.
